Which Attic Hatch Do You Need?
Whether your project is to install a hatch in an existing home or in a new construction, we have the right model for you. You can choose from three insulation values: R42, R50, or R60, depending on your needs.

ThermoShield R42 attic hatches are built with a 5/8″ thick particleboard box, MDF finishing trim, and foam weatherstripping. The door features ½” particleboard laminated onto 11″ thick expanded polystyrene.

ThermoShield+ R50 attic hatches include a 5/8″ thick particleboard box, MDF finishing trim, and weatherstripping foam. The door features ½” particleboard laminated onto 13″ thick expanded polystyrene.

ThermoPro 1642 attic hatches consist of a box made of 5/8″ thick exterior grade plywood. Its 16″ height allows for blow-in insulation according to new energy standards. The door is made from ½” thick primed particleboard laminated onto 11″ thick expanded polystyrene, with dual weatherstripping for maximum airtightness. The door also features a removable handle, allowing you to pull it down with ease.
